Calibration & Documentation Software

Tucson Calibration Services offers an affordable calibration and documentation software package that is extensive and easily networked. The software package runs on any computer that has MS Access installed.

This is a complete package designed by metrologists to include all aspects of a Total Quality System. Included in this package is one year of unlimited telephone support.

This sofware program is intended to support the needs of an equipment calibration business or department. The functions provided are:

1. List new customers as needed. Certain customer preferences may be entered. Each customer cah have a separate ship-to and installed-at address.
2. Receive and track equipment for estimate, repair, test or calibration. The equipment may have been seen before, or not. Enter first-time equipment as needed, with calibration interval and procedure/accuracy standard to be applied. Print inventory by customer.
3. Filter the list of reports by customer, manufacturer and description.
4. Enter purchase order number. Enter a description of work that was performed for each task type, list parts used and enter in-coming and out-going data points as required. Indicate out-of-tolerance as received, out-of-tolerance as returned or mark for limited use. Enter temperature and humidity values during calibration.
5. Track internal lab equipment used on each calibration. Track calibration cycle of lab equipment
6. List outside vendors who perform calibration or repair as a service.
7. Maintain a log of work sent to vendors with the expected return date.
8. List contacts for each customer.
9. Create groups of equipment calibrations for a given customer using the equipment list.
10. Creat groups of blank calibration reports for unknown units to be completed on-sied.
11. Print calibration certifications and data sheets for completed work.
12. Print packing list to vendor or for the return to customer.
13. Print equipment recall letters, by customer, 30 days ahead of the next calibration date. Days-ahead can be changed.
14. Print a report showing equipment having recall letters sent with no response from the customer.
15. Print a history log by job, by customer, by job status, by assigned-to, by manufacturer, by description or for single units by serial number or asset number or from the equipment list. Print a price history. Export these reports to Excel.
16. Export an Excell workload report by equipment type and month/year when due for calibration. Using a pivot table in excel, various displays of the information can be made.
17. The dabase can be backed up to Excel with a single button or restored from a selected file name. The file name and path can be changed.
18. Search for a particular calibration report by customer, manufacturer, description, status or by entering a specific report number
19. Customers or specific units can be "retired" without losing the historical information. Retired items can be Un-retired.
